The puja should be performed in the evening.
Take bath and offer prayers to Ganesha in mind
The murti of Lalita Devi should be installed on a rose color cloth.
Puja should be performed facing north.
Lamp should be lit using cow ghee.
Dhoop should be of Chandan.
Pink color flowers should be offered to the Goddess.
Gulal and Ithar should be offered.
The food (bhog, naivedya or Prasad) on the day should be Kheer.
The bhog should be shared with a married woman and then with friends and family members.
The mantra – ऐं ह्रीं श्रीं ललितायै नमः॥ - should be chanted 108 times.
Special Offerings

Offer wheat flour to Goddess and then donate it to a poor person or make roti from it and feed cow.
Lighting six-face lamp using ghee and pink color wick will help in attaining eternal prosperity.
For union of lovers and marriage, offer curd and honey to Goddess Lalitha. Then spread it on a roti and feed a cow.
